Domenic Raso

Bass Guitar/Vocals

 

Dom started playing Bass guitar in his first band The Blu-Prints at age 13 with his brother and 2 friends. Playing around the Rock'n'Roll/Rockabilly scene of Melbourne at venues such as Bell Street Rock and the Springvale Hotel. Dom was always fiddling with Guitar outside of playing Bass and at age 18 when the Blu-Prints disbanded he moved onto lead guitar and with some close friends formed Itchy Fingers. Dom‘s influences are  many ranging from Country, Rockabilly, Rock’n’Roll and Swing but his strongest influence is the Blues. Stevie Ray Vaughan being his biggest influence along with artists such as; B.B.King, Jimmie Vaughan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Albert King, Albert Collins. Also artists such as the Mavericks, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Chuck Berry, The Doors, Credence Clearwater, John Fogarty Brian Setzer the list goes on and on. Dom has 4 children who have grown up involved in the music, oldest Son Jaymie a full time musician working in Dubai, Daughter Mia singing up a storm, son Dante learning guitar and wife Michelle dancing up a storm at the Gigs.

Dante Raso

Lead Guitar

 

Stepping up to the plate Domenic's son Dante has taken over the reigns as Lead Guitarist since age 14. Dante has been playing the Guiatr since the age of 7 and has caterpualted into a well established Guiatrist and has more than accomplished himself as the main guitarist of Itchy Fingers jamming along side a very proud Dad. Growing up going to gigs with his family nearly every weekend he takes his influences from his Idol Stevie Ray Vaughan and many classic Blues artists such as Robben Ford, Jimmie Vaughan, Josh Smith, Albert King, Jimi Hendrix, B.B.King just to name a few.

Emmanuel Cuschieri

Drums

 

Emmanuel Cuschieri commenced playing drums at age four-and-a-half. With roots and training originally in Jazz drumming, Emmanuel transitioned to Rock and Roll, joining Itchy Fingers at the end of 2011. Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Education specialising in Music Teaching, as well as an Associate Performance Diploma in Drumset. When not gigging and performing with Itchy Fingers, Emmanuel teaches drums full-time, owning and operating his own Music School - Emmanuel’s Drum Studio & Emmanuel's Music Studio

Chris Agius

Saxophone/Vocals

Chris started playing from the age of 15 in a Concert band consisting of music teachers and college of the arts students playing big band material... 

Born with music in his blood , father a singer musician and family consisting of many musical talents he moved on to playing in a reception band doing dinner dances , weddings , Corporate gigs, then played in smaller groups doing Restaurants, and clubs... 

He later joined a 10 piece band playing covers from the 70's to top 40"s.

After this he joined a Rock'n'Roll band called 5 o'clock rock playing your R'n'R classics which led to being  asked to play with the band The Speedsters playing swing, country , rock n roll. 

Chris has played along side the likes of  Wilbur Wilde & Kellie Santin, from Channel 9's Hey Hey its Saturday house band and Joe Camillari from the Black Sorrows.

His influences are David Sanborn, Dave Koz, Candy Dulfer, Stan Getz, Charlie Parker and many more jazz players. Bands influences Huey Lewis and the News, Ole '55, Dire Straits and The Black Sorrows ..

Loves and has passion with what he does and that's playing the Saxophone

Mia Raso

Vocals

Establishing herself as an amazing vocalist at a very young age Domenic's daughter Mia is now a part of Itchy Fingers. With a strong stage presence and persona Mia adds another layer to Itchy Fingers with her Soulful and Bluesy Vocals. Mia has been singing since primary school, always taking part in all things music at Primary and Secondary School, joining school choirs, involved in musicals and studying all forms of music throughout school. Her main influences are stars such as Tina Turner, Candye Kayne, Etta James, Arethra Franklin, Jessica Mauboy,  just to mention a few. As a child Mia was always at Dad's gigs and when ever had the chance was up on stage holding a microphone and dancing away next to Dad. Now Performing next to a proud Dad Mia gets to blast out some great Rockin, Soul and Rythym and Blues tunes expanding the Itchy Fingers repotoire.
